Gretna City Hall (Brett Duke, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune) Funding the Gretna Heritage Festival and revamping the code governing fireworks are on the agenda of the Gretna City Council Wednesday (Sept. 9). The council is expected to approve by consent $200,000 for the festival, which is the city’s premiere tourist attraction.
The council meets at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, Huey P. Long Avenue and Second Street.
